Margaret Marie Kendrick Heath, 74, of Duck Hill, MS passed away Wednesday, Dec. 24, at Baptist Hospital in Jackson.
She was born on May 13, 1951, in Winona, she was the beloved daughter of John D. "Skeet" Kendrick and Betty Jean Kendrick.
She graduated from Winona High School in 1969 and from Delta State University in 1973 with a BS in Elementary Education. She retired from Duck Hill Elementary after 28 years of service. She was a member of North Winona Baptist Church. She was known for loving her family, cooking, gardening, and for her love for her many dogs. Margaret enjoyed retirement at her
home in the country. She enjoyed
being outside in her yard planting and watching things grow. She enjoyed sitting on her back porch watching and listening to all of God's creations.
Margaret is survived by her son John Andrew "Andy" Heath of Madison; her brother Bobby "Skeet" (LeAnne) Kendrick of McCarley, her granddaughter Perri Dianne Heath of Brandon, her cousin Jeffery Lee Kelly of Winona, and her
special cousin Betsy Stoutmorrill
of Jacksonville, F.L. She was preceded in death by her mother Betty Jean Kendrick; her Great Aunt Willie "Aunt Willie" Thompson; her Aunt Minnie "Tucky" Bickford; her Father John D "Skeet" Kendrick and husband Robert Trent "Cuz" Leverette.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 3, at 11 am in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Winona. Friends and family are invited to attend and
celebrate Margaret's life.
The family wishes to express a
