Saturday, Oct. 9 Vaiden will hold its annual Vaiden Heritage Festival. The festival will be held in downtown Vaiden.
There will be food, games and fun for the entire family. There will be hayrides, arts, crafts, face painting, jumping castles, and much more. Featured artist will be Jennifer Watts, Big Earl from Pearl and the Cobbins Brothers. DJ will Big Daddy Givens.
Vendors who are wanting spots, fees are $25 without electricity and $35 with electricity.
Mayor Stella Washington-Bell said there will also be a pop up COVID testing site. She said the Mississippi Department of Health will be at the festival from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. and the town will also give out hand sanitizer and mask.
