The Fifth Circuit District Attorney’s Office in collaboration with the Mississippi Attorney General’s Office recently held a Domestic Violence Reporting Training for law enforcement agencies within the Fifth Circuit District.
The objective of the training, which was held at the Winona Community House, was to enhance officers’ skills and knowledge in utilizing domestic violence reporting software, effectively managing cases, and ensuring precise and prompt reporting. Officers also had the opportunity to observe and analyze actual scenarios, enhancing their ability to recognize and respond to signs of domestic violence. The training was interactive, creating an engaging atmosphere that encouraged active participation of the officers.
