Residents of Carroll and Montgomery counties affected by the March 24 tornado have another opportunity for assistance at the National Guard Armory in Winona.
Blessings for All Empowered by Faith will give away food, diapers, cleaning supplies, clothing and household items, beginning at 5 p.m. on Saturday, according to Calbrina Woods, founder of the nonprofit organization.
“It’s for people from Montgomery and Carroll counties,” said Woods. “Each person, 18 and older, will be allowed to pick 10 items from the table.”
She encourages people to arrive close to 5 p.m. as she expects to accommodate about 150 people.
“It’s first come, first serve until items are gone,” said Woods.
