The Kilmichael Volunteer Fire Department worked for six hours to extinguish a house fire early Saturday morning.
Kilmichael Volunteer Fire Chief Dave Eldridge said the department was dispatched to the home on Lower Bethlehem Road at 5 a.m. Saturday morning.
He said KVFD and Poplar Creek Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene.
He said the home was a total loss, but they were able to save a vehicle and multiple ATVs that were near the home. Eldridge said they used more than 10,000 gallons water fighting the fire, and KVFD cleared the scene around 11 a.m. that morning.
Eldridge said the preliminary cause of the fire was electrical. He said the family was home, but there were no injuries. Everyone safely exited the home.
