Bogue Creek festivities will kick off at 9 a.m. and last until 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10 in downtown Duck Hill.
The Red Hill Volunteer Fire Department will host this year’s festival to raise money for a new firehouse, according to Miranda Dean, fire department secretary.
Several inflatables, arts and crafts, various vendors, and food trucks will be available, and a dunking booth will be occupied by Montgomery County Sheriff Jeff Tompkins from noon until 1 p.m. and several Duck Hill police officers throughout the day, Dean said.
Festival volunteers also are expecting groups performing various types of music, including gospel, blues, and country, Dean said.
The public is welcome to come out and join in the fun as festival representatives and town officials expect a successful event again this year.
