Hubert Clyde Willhite, 64, of Carrollton, died Wednesday, Aug. 10, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford. There will be a private service at a later date.
Hubert was born Feb. 2, 1958, to George Woodrow Willhite Jr. and Ruth Laverne Story Willhite. He was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed sitting on the porch talking to family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, David Willhite and James Harold Willhite; and sister, Becky Willhite.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Debra Higginbotham Willhite of Carrollton; daughters, Cassandra Willhite of Alabama and Crystal Lynn Willhite of Alabama; sisters, Gail Berry of Winona, Glenda Creswell of Arkansas and Wanda Willhite of Winona; brothers, Thomas Willhite of Arkansas and Anthony Willhite; stepdaughters, Pam Longstreet and Teresa Ann Petway; stepsons, James “J.R.” Haley, Bryan Haley and Jason Haley; 21 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
