Carroll had a busy week on the hardwoods last week with three games.
The Lady Rebels won two of three games as they beat Calhoun 39-24 and Greenville St. Joseph 35-30. They lost 49-19 to Winona Christian on Friday in district play.
The Rebels lost two of three games as they beat Calhoun 45-24 but lost 75-65 to St. Joseph and 51-49 to Winona Christian.
Carroll will return to action this week with a pair of district contests. Carroll will travel to rival Central Holmes on Tuesday and then host Indianola on Friday.
Carroll girls 39, Calhoun 24
The Lady Rebels pulled away in the second half and took a 15-point win over the Lady Cougars.
Each team scored eight points in the first period and Carroll outscored Calhoun 11-8 in the sec-ond to lead 19-16 at the half. Carroll then pulled away in the second half an outscored Calhoun 14-6 in the third and 6-2 in the fourth.
Dru Chamblee led Carroll with 14 points while Meri Brynn Boutwell had 12 points. Bella Carter also had seven points.

Calhoun 24
The Rebels dominated the first half and cruised to a 21-point win over Cougars.
Carroll outscored Calhoun 12-2 in the first and 10-2 in the second to lead 22-4 at the half. The Rebels continued to extend its lead in the second half as they outscored the Cougars 10-9 in the third and 13-11 in the fourth.
Noah Beck led Carroll with 17 points while Brennan Blaylock had 11 points and Mathis Beck added seven points.

St. Joseph 30
The Lady Rebels used a big third period to take a five-point win over the Lady Irish in district play.
St. Joseph led 5-4 at the end of the first period and each team scored nine points in the second period as the Lady Irish led 14-13 at the half. Carrol then outscored St. Joseph 13-5 in the third to take a 26-19 lead into the fourth. St. Joseph then outscored Carroll 11-9 in the fourth as the Lady Rebels held on for the win.
Bella Carter led Carroll with 14 points while Dru Chamblee had nine points and Ann Laken Taylor had five points.
