The Winona Library will be closed Monday, Jan. 16, for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The library will reopen at 8 a.m. Jan. 17.
We have some exciting things planned for the month of January. I hope you will make plans to join us and take advantage of the programs our library has to offer. Our activity schedule for the month is as follows
January all month, for all ages: Winter Activity Pages. Stop by the library to pick up activity pages for your age specific group. They will include word searches, crossword puzzles, sudoku, dot-to-dot, coloring pages, etc.
Jan. 3 -13 for preteen and teens: Design a bookmark challenge. Bookmarks will be voted on and we will print the winning bookmark to give out to our patrons.
Jan. 3 -13 for all ages: Guess how many pages were in the shredde.d book. The closest guess wins the candy prize.
Jan.9 at 10 a.m.: Winter Preschool Storytime. Join us for winter-themed stories, music, fingerplays, a snowman craft, and a fake snow sensory bin!
Jan. 9 at 3:30 p.m.: Winter After School Storytime: We will be reading snow stories, singing songs about snow/winter, and making a no-sew sock snowman.
Jan. 18 at 2 p.m.: Adult Bingo. Join us for a fun afternoon playing Bingo! Win prizes and enjoy refreshments.
