Synthetic opioid-like substances banned

The Carroll County Board of Supervisors passed an ordinance that will prohibit the sale of synthetic substances comparable to opiods in the county. In a 3-2 vote, the board authorized the ordinance to run in the newspaper for 30 days before it goes into effect, with Supervisors Claude Fluker and Dill Tucker casting the dissenting votes.

Local districts requiring masks

HCC students give back to DH

Man facing grand jury for false pretense
