The Lady Jaguars closed out the season under first-year coach Ben Earnest with a 6-15 overall record and an 0-8 mark in Region 4-2A.
“It was a great season. Any time you come into a new role, you expect to experience some growing pains,” said Earnest. “We had several big wins that set the stage for an even better season next year. We will enter a new division next year.
“We will be returning all but one of our starters from this year, and that will bring a wealth of experience to our team. Saralyn Roberts and Kaylee Wilkinson, both captains this year, and Cadence Jones will be returning, as well as outfielders Makayla Cobbins and Tysalyn Meeks. We also have several underclassmen who will be contributors, too.”
