Winona High School is proud to announce that Gunner Wilkes was chosen as WHS’s Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizen for the 2026 school year!
This honor recognizes a senior who best exemplifies the qualities of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism. Gunner embodies these values each day through his character, dedication, and school spirit.
Gunner is the drum major for the Pride band, a member of the soccer team and the tennis team, and has been the president of the Beta Club for the past two years, all while maintaining an A average throughout his high school academic career. He was also selected to be a member of the Secretary of State Student Ambassador program for the 2025-26 school year.
Gunner will be recognized at the DAR banquet in the spring.
