Who is the most faithful person you know? Who is that person that you can count on to show up? Who is that person who serves consistently? When you think of someone who has loved you through ups and downs, who has been by your side during big things and little things, that person is a person that you can call faithful, and you can call yourself greatly blessed if you have one of them in your life.
The most perfect, faithful person is of course God. One of my favorite verses in scripture is Lamentations 3:22-24 which reads, “His compassions never fail. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness. For I say to myself, ‘The Lord is my portion, therefore I will wait on Him.’”
You see our Father and Savior shows us perfect faithfulness by giving us compassion and grace every morning. He never leaves us or forsakes us and always keeps his promises. Faithfulness is a fruit of the believer because it is such a big part of our Savior.
So this week, when you get the chance, practice faithfulness. In your studies, with your friends, with your family, and with Jesus. Also think of those people who are faithful to you and tell them thank you for always being faithful to you. Remember Ms. Faulk loves you, but Jesus loves you more.
