In the spirit of the holiday season, Dixie Roofing continues their tradition of giving back to the community they've proudly served for decades. Working alongside Gulf Eagle Supply, Creative Foam Insulation Products, and several anonymous donors, the company recently provided God's House of Hope in Kilmichael with a much-needed TPO roof system.
“That was about an $80,000 project, but with some donations from our suppliers, we were able to get that down pretty good. And there was an anonymous donation that somebody gave us toward that, but we’re giving that back to God’s House of Hope,” Dixie Roofing President Kris Blakely explained.
Just before Thanksgiving, Dixie Roofing further demonstrated their commitment to community service by providing a new roof for a deserving local family, ensuring they would have a safe and secure home for the holidays.
Beyond their roof donations, Dixie Roofing demonstrates their community support through annual contributions to local first responders.
“Every year we make donations to the sheriff’s department, Montgomery County and Carroll, and then to the Winona Police Department, and fire departments. That’s an annual thing,” Blakely said. “We make a monetary donation to each one, just to help out. And it’s always to be appropriated to the Officers Fund or the Firemen’s Fund.
While Dixie Roofing maintains their commitment to community support throughout the year, the holiday season sees them focusing on larger projects and charitable initiatives. Through these consistent acts of giving, the company continues to strengthen the community they serve.
