The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a 31-year-old Winona man whose body was discovered Wednesday morning in a parking lot.
Jarquez Duren of Poor House Road was found in the parking lot of the former Angelica building by a woman walking her dog. Montgomery County Coroner Allan Pratt said the call came into the Emergency Operations Center at 7:47 a.m.
Montgomery County Sheriff Jeff Tompkins said the state Crime Lab in Pearl found no wounds on the body and the cause of death has not been determined.
The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is assisting with the ongoing investigation.
