Carroll Academy’s girls fastpitch softball team dropped an 11-0 decision to Oak Hill Academy last Tuesday to fall to 3-10 overall.
The Lady Raiders scored two runs in the first, four runs each in the second and sixth innings and one in the fifth.
Layla Neese (1-4) took the loss as she went three innings, allowing six runs on eight hits, walking four. Kaylyn Wiltshire worked 2.1 innings, giving up five runs on one hit, walking four and striking out one.
Makenzie Reeves had a double, and Nevaeh McCrory had a single for Carroll.
Carroll played at Manchester Academy Monday and hosted the Lady Mavericks Tuesday for a varsity doubleheader in District 2-2A action. Carroll is at Central Holmes Christian School next Monday.
