Funeral services Mrs. Bobbie Jean Overstreet Thompson, of Winona, will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 20, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Winona Garden of Memory. The Rev. Terry Corley will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Robbie Dossett, River Burrell, Brandon Mullins, Andy Ferguson, Eric Bennett, Jay Bennett.
Visitation will be held Friday, Dec. 20, from 1 p.m. until service time at Oliver Funeral Home of Winona.
Mrs. Bobbie Jean Overstreet Thompson, 86, passed away Sunday, Dec. 15, 2024, at her residence in Winona. She was born in Montgomery County to William and Willie Henderson Overstreet on June 7, 1938. She was a member of North Winona Baptist Church. Prior to retirement she worked for the Montgomery County Sheriff's office as a secretary.
She is survived by her daughter, Tracie Mullins of Winona; sisters, Lillian Braswell of Cypress, Texas and Linda Beckwith of Winona; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Earl "Bill" Thompson; daughter, Cynthia Diane Thompson; two brothers, RC Overstreet and John Overstreet; three sisters, Dovie Crowder, Louise Rogers and Evelyn Laney; and a great-great granddaughter, Mercy Burrell.
