Funeral services for Mr. Billy Keith "Bill" Johnson of McCarley were held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 25, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in Eskridge Cemetery in Eskridge. The Rev. Scott Fortenberry officiated the service. Pallbearers were Kyle Pearson, Joshua Pearson, Tyler Johnson, Ryan Johnson, Cameron Johnson and Kris Blakely. Larry Blakely served as honorary pallbearer.
Visitation was Sunday, May 25, from noon until service time at Oliver Funeral Home of Winona.
Mr. Bill Johnson, 56, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2025, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. He was born to Billy and Barbara Blakely Johnson on April 24, 1969. Bill was a self-employed heavy equipment crane operator.
He is survived by his mother, Barbara Blakely Johnson of McCarley; Godson, Carter Shivel of Winona; sister, Renaee Pearson (Larry) of McCarley; brother, Ricky Johnson (Cindy) of McCarley; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Samuel Johnson.
