Funeral services for Betty Perry Saylors of Winona were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 13, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in Oakwood Cemetery. Rev. Andy Coburn officiated the services. Pallbearers were Evan Green, Timmy Overstreet, Christopher Wilson, and Ken Ellis.
Visitation was held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Betty Perry Saylors, 90, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2025, at her residence in Winona. She was born in North Carrollton to Frank and Allie Mae Bennett Perry on Feb. 10, 1935. Prior to retirement, Betty worked for Abbott Laboratories in Illinois. She enjoyed yard work, cooking and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her grandsons, Justen Gilmore and Corey Gilmore, both of Winona; great-granddaughter, Haley Gilmore and great-grandson, Trey Gilmore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John William Saylors; daughter, Janice Gilmore and several brothers and sisters.
