The winter weather played havoc on the roads and the local basketball schedule, last week cancelling all games at Winona Christian and Carroll Academy.
Winona Christian has two games scheduled this week as they host rival Carroll for a district contest and senior night. Winona will then play at Canton on Tuesday as the Stars take on the Panthers with the No. 1 seed in the district tournament on the line.
The junior high district tournament will be played this week at Canton Academy with playing dates on Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
The high school tournament will be played next week at Oak Hill in West Point on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Carroll was scheduled to play at Oak Hill on Tuesday and at Calhoun Academy on Thursday. They were then scheduled to host Central Holmes on Friday. But all three of those contests were cancelled because of winter weather.
After the Winona game on Monday, Carroll traveled to Oak Hill on Tuesday to finish out district play.
The high school will host Calhoun Academy on Friday and then host Tri-County on Monday, Jan. 29 to finish out the regular season.
