On Tuesday, Jan. 7, at approximately 6 p.m., the Winona Police Department and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department assisted the United States Marshall Services Fugitive Recovery Task force in locating Deterrion Hardiman, a 20-year-old black male from Southaven.
Deterrion Hardiman had two active felony warrants with Southaven Police Department for Attempted Murder and Conspiracy to Commit a Felony.
US Marshall’s advised that through their investigation, it was believe that Hardiman was in the area of Winona with family. At approximately 10 p.m. in the 900 block of Stella Street, Hardiman surrendered himself to law enforcement.
Hardiman was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Carroll/Montgomery County Jail where he was placed on a hold for Southaven Police Department and is awaiting extradition.
