Winona High School standout JaTyler Moore got the opportunity to play one final high school football game last week, when he helped the West defeated the East 26-0 in the Northeast Mississippi Football Coaches Association All-Star game played at Booneville last Wednesday.
In the end, Carroll Academy’s Bo Milton had to figure out he was a football coach.
Milton stepped down as the school’s headmaster earlier this month and will remain as the head football coach. Milton said he will also pick up some teaching duties at the school.
Rachel VanHorn has been selected by the Mississippi Association of Coaches to participate in the 2018 All-Star State Tennis tournament to be held in Jackson on June 14.
Austin Huggins got to play one last baseball game representing Winona Christian.
He was selected to play in the MAIS Class A-AA All-star baseball game. Huggins was on the White team that ended up losing 16-10 in a nine-inning contest.
