Sendy Hall has always been a helper, a woman who helps others in their time of need. As a registered nurse in the emergency room at Tyler Holmes Memorial Hospital, Hall has pretty much seen it all. Nothing surprises her anymore, especially after she fought cancer and won.  She may be shaken, but she’s not easily broken.

Board looks to cut costs


The Carroll County School Board voted Thursday night to approve employee overtime pay as it is earned during its meeting held at Vaiden’s City Hall.

During September’s meeting, this same issue arose about employee overtime pay. Some of the board members feel that there should be a way to reduce overtime pay.
