The Carrollton Pilgrimage is set for tomorrow and Saturday, with home tours beginning at 9 a.m. both days and ending at 5 p.m. The Pioneer Day Festival will begin at 9 a.m. on the Carrollton Courthouse Square Saturday with activities planned throughout the day.

Organizers are putting the finishing touches on Carroll County’s largest event of the year – the annual Carrollton Pilgrimage and the Pioneer Day Festival.
“Everything is on track for a great week,” said Carrollton Mayor Pam Lee, who also chairs the event.
When people arrive in Vaiden, they are met with stunning fall decorations created by Vaiden’s Beautification Committee. It’s hard not to “ooh and ahh” over the strategically-placed fall decorations, and that’s what the committee wants people to do.
