WPD foils burglary

Officers from the Winona Police Department foiled a burglary in progress last week.

According to Winona Chief of Police Tommy Bibbs, Captain Calvin Robinson and Officer Orlando Bolden responded to a call in the early morning hours on Thursday, August 8 at El Cabrito Mexican Restaurant in Winona.







Versatile Wiggins provides speed, skill to the Stars attack

Winona Christian School’s Dalton Wiggins may be one of the most versatile athletes in the MAIS this year.

Wiggins is a four-sport starter for Winona Christian, where he plays football, baseball, basketball and runs track.

On the football field, Wiggins could line up at receiver, running back, quarterback, cornerback or safety.
