The Carroll Academy boys lost 57-38 to Pillow and 58-53 to North Delta. The Lady Rebels lost 69-45 to Pillow and 58-53 to North Delta.
OXFORD – JaTyler Moore's high school football career at Winona had just ended with a 41-26 loss to Taylorsville in the MHSAA Class 2A State Championship game. Standing on the Vaught-Hemingway field, the runner-up medallion hanging from his neck, there were tears in Moore's eyes as he answered questions courteously, but in hushed tones.
