Big Black River Festival
•The West Civic Club will hold its annual Big Black River Festival from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14 in downtown West. There will be food, fun and entertainment. Mike Patton will be the Master of Ceremony and Benny Melton, whose work has been featured in Delta Magazine will have paintings for sale. Senior Club of Winona Senior Day
•The Senior Club of Winona will have its Senior Day on Sept. 14, 2019 at 3 p.m. at the Zion District Building. The speaker is Minister Dorothy Woods.
•The Warren E. Campbell Post 4488 will host a dance Saturday night at the post home in Grenada. This week’s featured band is the Dirt Road Band.
• Zion Chapel Methodist Church in McCarley will have its annual homecoming service at 2:30 p.m. The speaker will be Rev. Regina Tyler, pastor of Ambrose Chapel C.M.E. Church in McCarley.
