Hill Fire Script Reading

Hill Fire will hold its script reading for its new play, “Coming Home”, Saturday, Aug. 10 from 10 a.m. until noon at the Montgomery County Performing Arts, 208 Summit Street, in Winona. Anyone who wants to participate in the play, should come to the reading. The public is invited to attend.

Pink Flower Missionary Baptist Church will have its Homecoming Service on Sunday, Aug. 11.  at 8 a.m. breakfast will be served.

Bear Marsh Missionary Baptist Church will have its annual choir day at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11. All choirs and soloists are invited.

Good Hope United Methodist Church will have its annual church anniversary and homecoming program on August 11 at 2 p.m. The speaker will be Rev. Cedric Weeks of Jackson, formerly of Vaiden.

St. Paul Church of God in Christ will have its homecoming service celebrating over 70 years of service at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 11. The speaker will be Elder Eddie B. Scales, Sr. pastor of Greater Pentecostal Temple Church of God in Christ in Greenwood. Dinner will be served.

Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church in Winona will have its ninth pastoral anniversary for Pastor and First Lady McGee at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 11. The speaker will be Bishop Roderick Mitchell.

Hebron Baptist Church in Montgomery County will have its homecoming at 11 a.m. on August 11. Special music will be provided by the Fishers of Men from Oxford. A covered-dish luncheon will follow the program, everyone is invited.
