Grenada woman whose mother lives in Duck Hill wants the Town of Duck Hill to reimburse her for the cost of two tires after she hit a pothole which according to her was “big enough to put a baby and a baby crib inside” twice on Mother’s Day. She has requested the town pay for the repairs to her car.
The Carroll County Board of Supervisor received some good news: although Class A, B and C timber dropped four percent, the overall assessed value of real and personal property increased by $432,567 between 2019 and 2018.
The Carroll County School District is purchasing three new buses to replace three of their buses that are old and in disrepair. Superintendent Billy Joe told board members they took the buses to Waters Truck and Tractor in Kosciusko.
