Andy Gibson, Mississippi Agricultural Commissioner, was the keynote speaker at Winona Christian School’s commencement exercises Friday night in the school’s gymnasium.  Prior to graduation,  graduates were able to meet Gibson, who was appointed Agricultural Commissioner after Cindy Hyde-Smith was appointed to fill Senator Thad Cochran’s seat in




State Track Champions

The Winona Tigers brought home several State Championship medals in track.  Natori Weathersby (bottom right) took home the individual state championship in Discus; Krystle Hughes (middle right) took home state championship medals in the 100 meter and 200 meter; and  Tyra Weathersby (top right)  won the medal for Triple Jump.  The Tigers  relay






Skills USA Winners

Students from the Winona Career and Technical Center competed against students statewide in the SkillsUSA State Competition held April 10-11 at locations in Jackson and Pearl.  Students competing in Skills USA represented Winona High School and Winona Christian School and Montgomery, Carroll, and Attala counties.  Winners from SkillsUSA State c


WHS Code Red wins state title
