Montgomery County Circuit Clerk Lanelle Martin loves to cook.
The Kilmichael native comes from a long line of good Southern cooks, from her mother to her grandmother to her aunts.

Casey Carpenter will move on to November’s General Election in his race for the Carroll County Chancery Clerk seat, as he defeated challenger Christy Noah in Tuesday’s runoff election.
Carpenter, 38, received 1,716 votes to Noah’s 1,064 votes.
WINONA – A Vaiden teen was honored Sunday for achieving what no other scout in the Boy Scouts of America have ever achieved – earning all 138 merit badges.
Eagle Scout James Armstrong, 17, of Vaiden was honored Sunday with a reception at the American Legion Post 52 for meeting the requirements to earn all 138 merit badges.
