Board discusses Powell Street paving project

The Winona Mayor and Board of Aldermen have plans to pave Powell Street, from the railroad tracks on the east side of Highway 51 all the way to Barron Street, the south side of Barron Street to Dennis Street, Dennis Street from Barron to Cemetery Lane, and Cemetery Lane back to Powell.  This project will be paid for in part by $300,000 designat

From Momma’s table to yours

Montgomery County's candidate field is set for 2019 election

Five incumbents are running unopposed in this year’s Montgomery County election.  Chancery Clerk Ryan Wood, Coroner Allan Pratt, District 1 Supervisor Keith McGee, District 4 Supervisor Ron Wood, and District 2 Montgomery County Justice Court Judge Larry Bamberg did not draw opponents for this year’s election.
