Funeral services for Evangeline Wright of Kilmichael were held on Saturday, March 13, 2010, at 1 p.m. at Saint Paul Church of God in Christ with Elder Michael Virgil officiating. Burial followed in the church's cemetery in Kilmichael. Roberts and Sons Mortuary of Winona was in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation was held Friday, March 12, 2010, from 3 until 6 p.m. at Roberts and Sons Mortuary and 30 minutes prior to the service.
Mrs. Wright, 70, died Saturday, March 6, 2010, at Greenwood Leflore Hospital.
She is survived by her sons, Wallace Wright of Tacoma, Wash., and Henry M. Wright of Winona; daughters, Linda Wright-Chabers of Albuquerque, NM, and Louberta Wright of Memphis; sisters, Mary Peeples, Willie M. Triplett, and Danny L. Witty, all of Kilmichael; and five grandchildren.
