Ethel Haire Hawkins, 75, of Greenwood, died of heart failure on Sunday,
February 28, at Country Meadows Assisted Living Center in Greenwood.
Graveside funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 2, at 2:00 p.m., at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery near Winona. Rev. Bernard Wiggins officiated the service. Oliver Funeral Home of Winona handled the arrangements.
Survivors include four daughters, Sharon Wright of Drummonds, Tenn., Martha Hemphill of Greenwood, Allene Skinner of Atlanta, Ga., and Marie Elmore of Winona; sister, Edith Dickey of Water Valley; brother, Ed Haire of Flint, Mich.; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
