Jennifer Lue Braswell, 34, of Lake, Mississippi, formerly of Winona, went home to be with the Lord on January 11, 2010, at S. E. Lackey Memorial Hospital in Forest after a long illness from diabetes, kidney failure, and heart complications.
Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 14, at Oliver Chapel with burialfollowing in Bear Creek Cemetery near French Camp. Rev. Bobby Boyles and Rev. Rupert Ingram officiated the services. Oliver Funeral Home of Winona handled the arrangements.
Visitation was Wednesday, January 13, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., at Oliver Funeral Home.
Jennifer was born on September 2, 1975, and was a 1993 graduate of Winona High School. She is survived by her parents, Glen and Nancy Braswell of Lake; a brother, Glen Braswell, Jr., of Lake; a special nephew, Brett O'Bryan of Lake; and a host of aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Marlin William and Christine P. McCrary, and Wayne and Earline Braswell.
Pallbearers were Darrell O'Bryan Jr., Cameron Ward, Benjie Dungan, Billy Tucker, Murry Greenlee, Joseph Blythe, and Chris Parker.
