When the whistle blew at Benton Academy Friday night, the Carroll Academy Rebels showed why they have climbed into the rankings.
The Carroll Academy Rebels defeated Benton 70-40 continuing their undefeated season.
The Rebels led the Raiders 22-6 in the first frame and led at the half 43-15.
C.J. Hodges and Nick Mumme led the way with 12 points each. Andrew Wright and Justin Blaylock both added 11 points and Hayden Harrell threw in seven points. Breland Marett added six points and Adam Jennings chipped in four of his own. Ken Daves had three points and Jeremy Mumme added two.
At 11-0, the Rebs will host their tournament in Carrollton beginning Monday.
