GREENWOOD - Doris Elizabeth Slater Banks, 77, died on Thursday, November 19, 2009, at the Greenwood Leflore Hospital of heart failure.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 23, 2009, at 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Williams & Lord Funeral Home in Greenwood. Funeral Services followed Monday at 11:00 a.m. graveside in Itta Bena Cemetery with the Rev Bernard Wiggins officiating
She is survived by sons, Wayne (Julia) Banks of Greenwood and Randy (Leslie) Banks of Itta Bena; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Williams & Lord Funeral Home was in charge.
