The Montgomery County Sheriff's Department with assistance from Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics arrested LaDwayne Moore, 26, of Vaiden and charged him with possession of powder cocaine, possession of crack cocaine and intent to sell.

According to Sheriff Bubba Nix, Moore was parked in the parking lot of Winona School District offices on Fairground Street, and officers approached him due to "suspicious behavior."

Nix also said an undisclosed amount of money was seized during the arrest.

Moore was also charged with possession of drugs on school property. There were no children in the vicinity around the time of the arrest, Nix said.

Moore is being held on a $100,000 bond at the Carroll Montgomery Regional Correctional Facility in Vaiden. His initial hearing was held earlier this week, and a preliminary hearing will be held in two weeks.

why do the Winona PD never help with the drugs with the Montgomery County Sheriff of Miss. Bureau of Narcotics, i would love to see all law enforcement work together or they don't like working with Chief Hargrove......don't that sound better for all local law enforcement
