Services for Rebecca Ann Brown Goetzinger will be held Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. graveside in Odd Fellows East Cemetery in Greenwood.
Mrs. Goetzinger, age 62, died on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at Greenwood Leflore Hospital of heart failure.
She was born on November 8, 1951 to the late James and Virginia Brooks Brown in Cleveland, lived in Pace and lived in the Greenwood area the past 36 years. She was a member of Riverside Baptist Church in Money. She worked as a nurse for Greenwood Leflore Hospital, Sta-Home Health, and retired from Dr. Jimmy Miller's Neurosurgery Clinic.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Allan Goetzinger of Carrollton; two daughters, Merrie Moorhead of Carrollton and Gina Goetzinger-Collett of Greenwood; one son, Chad Moorhead of Russellville, Arkansas; one sister, Jeanie Couey of Florence; and nine grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 26, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Williams & Lord Funeral Home in Greenwood.
Rev. Dave McNeill officiated the services. Pallbearers were Roy Haley, Earl Collett, Jeremy Sullivan, John Peyton McKay, Gary Couey, and Gary Hutchinson.
Honorary pallbearers were Robert Taylor, Curry Fields, and Dasel Moorhead.
Burial was in Odd Fellows East Cemetery.
