Funeral services for Mrs. Brownie Daughety Nail of Stewart were at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 21, in the chapel of Oliver Funeral Home, with burial following in Sarepta Cemetery in Stewart. Rev. Martin Jacks and Rev. Randy Bridges officiated the services.

Visitation was Saturday, June 21, from 9:00 a.m. until service time, at Oliver Funeral Home.

Mrs. Nail, 83, died of complications from a stroke at Golden Living Center in Eupora on Thursday, June 19. She was born in Stewart on February 6, 1931, to Vester and Gladys Daughety. She was a longtime, faithful member of Stewart Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Coy Nail; and her sister, Edna Earl Jenkins.

Mrs. Nail is survived by her daughters, Jean Hill (Ervin) of Winona and Marjorie Bridges (Joe) of Stewart; five grandchildren, Heath Hill (Becky), Holly Bridges (Andy), Daniel Hill (Carla), all of Winona, Joel Bridges (Breann) of Grenada, Melanie Wells (Shannon) of Madison; twelve great-grandchildren; two brothers, Billy Daughety (Doris) of Brandon and Jimmy Daughety (Susan) of Raymond; and two sisters, Evelyn Noonan of Pascagoula and Dorris Montgomery of Vaiden.

Pallbearers were Heath Hill, Joel Bridges, Daniel Hill, Andy Bridges, Shannon Wells, and Rev. Randy Bridges.
