Glover to play quarterback for Majors

Former Winona High standout Nick Glover will finish his final two seasons of college football playing quarterback at Millsaps College.

Glover finished his finals two seasons at Holmes Community College in Goodman on a stellar note, playing both on the offensive and defensive side of the ball.

In his sophomore season at HCC, Glover played quarterback and running back on offense, and he saw some defensive back duties on the defensive side.

In his freshman year, Glover managed to carry the ball 17 times for 37 yards for the Bulldogs.

In his final two seasons at Winona High, Glover was the starting quarterback, threw for 981 yards his senior season and rushed for over 800 yards during his junior campaign. His junior year, Glover threw nearly 90 passes and had over 1,300 passing yards.
