Chambley named to All-State First Team

Itawamba Community College and former Winona Christian Stars standout Brady Chambley joins five others in being named to the Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) All-State First team when the league announced the awards on Wednesday.

In his first season with the Indians, Chambley went 3-2 with a save and earned NJCAA Pitcher of the week. He finished his freshman season with a 4.56 ERA and 50 strikeouts in 53.1 innings pitched.

In his first week on the mound, Chambley was named MACJC Pitcher of the Week and a week later was named National Pitcher of the Week by the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA).

Chambley joined teammates Ethan Gill, Luke Gibbs, Drew Wheeler, and Tanner Poole as Indian MACJC All-Stars.

Chambley is currently tops on the team with a 3.34 ERA, three wins and 25 strikeouts.

In his final season at Winona Christian, Chambley finished the season at 10-1 and 93 strikeouts. He also posted a 1.93 ERA.
