Funeral services for Larry Clayton Palmertree Jr. of Canton, formerly of Brandon, were at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 1, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery near Vaiden. Rev. Pete Pearson officiated the services.
Visitation was Wednesday, April 30, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., at Oliver Funeral Home; and on Thursday, May 1, from 10:00 a.m. until service time, at the funeral home.
Mr. Palmertree, 42, died at his residence on Tuesday, April 29. He was born on April 2, 1972, in Kosciusko. He was a self-employed carpenter and a Baptist, who loved his family and adored his children. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Floyd and Annie Palmertree and Charlie and Annie Bruce.
Survivors include his daughter, Bella Rae Palmertree of Brandon; son, Steven Floyd Palmertree of Brandon; his parents, Larry Clayton and Loyce Palmertree of Poplar Creek; sister, Susanne Kimmons (Russ) of Pearl; niece Katie Timbs (Cody); two great-nieces, Emma and Ellie Timbs; many cousins; and a host of friends.
Pallbearers were Bryan Tindoll, Russ Kimmons, Cody Timbs, Mike Palmertree, Jason Palmertree, and Duane Armstrong.
