Funeral services for Annie Mae Gray of Carmack were at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 22, at the Community Full Gospel Church in Attala County, with burial following in the church cemetery. Bro. Aaron Dees, Jr. and Bro. Eddie Dodd officiated the services.
Visitation was Monday, April 21, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., at Community Full Gospel Church.
Mrs. Gray died at her residence on Saturday, April 19. She was 65 years old.
Mrs. Gray was the daughter of the late Garvis and Evlee Perry Gooden. She was a homemaker and a member of Community Full Gospel Church. She was devoted to her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed fishing and gardening. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Eloise Pollard; and brothers, Garvis Gooden Jr and Jimmy Gooden.
Survivors include her husband, Billy Gray of Carmack; daughter, Lee Ann Rosamond of Carmack; son, Bobby Dees (Rochelle) of Grenada; sisters, Ann Bell Dees of Winona and Frances Green of Winona; grandchildren, Crystal Rosamond and Kimberly Tompkins (Cooter); and great-grandchildren, Madelyn Rosamond, Justin Medine, Olivia Tompkins, and Hunter Tompkins.
Pallbearers were Robert Dees, Joe Allen Dees, Josh Welch, Chad Dodd, Jayson Mills, and Wesley Greene. Honorary pallbearers were Cooter Tompkins, Jamie Varnes, Bruce Rosamond, and Danny Varnes, Jr.
