NORTH CARROLLTON -- The J.Z. George Jaguars are shooting for a victory and look to get their first 3-2A win of the season.

The Jaguars travel to Hollandale-Simmons on Wednesday and take on the Leland Cubs Thursday while they attempt to finish the season on a strong note.

The Jags played last Friday and fell to West Bolivar 21-6 at home.

The Jaguars got five runs in the first inning of the contest but could not hold on to the early lead. Joshua Johnson had a single and a double in the contest, and senior Toby Brown also hit a double. Nick Nester, Hunter Robertson and Broderick Elam also had hits.
