Funeral services for Robert E. "Mad Dog" Bush of Winona were at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Winona, with burial following in Oakwood Cemetery in Winona. Rev. Terry Corley officiated the services. Visitation was Tuesday, April 15, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., at Oliver Funeral Home.
Mr. Bush died in an automobile and tractor-trailer accident near Eskridge on Friday, April 11. He was 64 years old.
Mr. Bush was born on October 3, 1949, in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was a driver for Wade Byars Logging and a Baptist. He was devoted to his family and loved his job. He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Mildred L. and Arthur "Skip" Gens.
Survivors include his wife of 20-1/2 years, Denise Bush; daughters, Brandon Bush Summers (Justin), Kelli Ware, and Leanne Bailey (Jason Mills); son, Joey Kendall (Julie); sister, Kathy Davis (Mark); brothers, James P. Bush (Jeanene) and Jack E. Bush (Elizabeth); eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and six nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Wade Byars, Klint Byars, Stan Brister, Mike Allen, Jack Winters, Travis Clanton, and Paul Shelton.
