GREENWOOD - Rebecca Money Moore, age 103, died on Wednesday March 12, 2014 at her residence.
She was born in Greenwood September 20, 1910 to the late Ernest Walden and Mattie Inez (Money) Moore and resided there all of her life. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Greenwood and she retired from Frank's Flower Shop after 30 years of service. She is preceded in death by six sisters and five brothers. She was affectionately known as Aunt Beck to her family and close friends. The family extends a special thanks to her caregivers Jeanette Henson, Mistie Henson, and Tonya Duke.
Visitation was 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 15 at Williams & Lord Funeral Home in Greenwood. Funeral Services were 11:30 a.m. Saturday graveside in Odd Fellows Cemetery with the Rev. Ren Smith officiating.
Burial was at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Greenwood. Pallbearers were Jim Herbert, Sid Lloyd, Wren Smith, Louis Schrader, and Charlie Grantham.
She is survived by two nieces, Gwen Scott Herbert of Greenwood and Evelyn Scott Smith of Greenwood, great niece, Kathy Herbert (Louis) Schrader of Greenwood, two great nephews, Jim (Kristi) Herbert of Carrollton and Ren (Susie) Smith of Pace, Fla., five great great nieces, Jami Truitt, Louisa Grantham, Keely Herbert, Kadi Herbert, and Morgan "Honey Child" Smith and two great great nephews, Scott Schrader, and Clay Herbert.
