MINTER CITY - Lillie Bea Henley, age 87, died on Monday March 3, 2014 at her residence of heart failure. She was born on March 2, 1927 to the late Joseph and Katherine (Worrell) Williamson, in Philadelphia and resided in the Minter City area most of her life. She was a member of the Walton Chapel Church of God in Minter City. She was a school bus driver for the Leflore County School system for 17 years. She is preceded in death by her husbands Henry Bennett and Gurley Henley.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 5 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Williams & Lord Funeral Home in Greenwood. Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 5 at 2:00 p.m. graveside in McNutt Cemetery in Schlater with Rev. Steven Bullion and Rev. Lynn Welch officiating. Burial was in McNutt Cemetery. Her great grandsons served as pallbearers.

She is survived by a son, Richard Bennett of Yazoo City; four daughters, Louise Hodges of Minter City, Ann Marie Brown of Yazoo City, Betty Fay Rosa of Minter City, and Ivy Bennett of Carthage; one brother, Johnny Williamson of Indianola; 12 grandchildren and a number of great and great-great grandchildren.
