Visitation was Sunday, February 23, from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m., at Oliver Funeral Home.
Mr. Miller died of heart failure at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle in Columbus on Friday, February 21. He was 40 years old.
Mr. Miller was born in Winona on May 29, 1973. He was an avid fisherman and loved racing and football. He was a member of the Spiritual Faith Ministry in Columbus. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Miller; his maternal grandparents, Robert and Frances Boyles; and his paternal grandmother, Lorraine Miller.
Mr. Miller is survived by his wife, Candi Miller of Columbus; two sons, Chase Lindley (Mika) of Columbus and Cameron Miller of Columbus; his mother and stepfather, Patsy and Jerry McElroy of Poplar Creek; sister, Dana Long (Tracey) of Greenwood; stepbrother, Jason Russell of Kosciusko; his grandfather, R. W. "PeeWee" Miller of Vaiden; and a niece and a nephew.
Pallbearers were Ted Doster, Jason Russell, Dennis Nelson, Wesley Greene, Shane Flowers, and Stephen Nixon. Honorary pallbearers were Kermit King, Chase Lindley, Cameron Miller, Justin Long, Jerry McElroy, Greg Hall, and Richard Wilson.
