Funeral services for Robert F. Farrell of Winona were at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 26, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Winona, with burial following in the New Hope Methodist Church Cemetery near Winona. Rev. Ralph Hunt officiated the services.
Visitation was Saturday, from 1:00 p.m. until service time, at Oliver Funeral Home.
Mr. Farrell died of cancer at his residence on Wednesday, October 23. He was 63 years old.
Mr Farrell was born in Attala County in June 20, 1950. He was a longtime supervisor with Clear River Construction Company. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Sanford Farrell Sr. and Mattie Ree Rone Farrell; and two children, Lisa Ware and Phillip Ware.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Farrell of Winona; two daughters, Sandra Thornton of Kosciusko and Christie Montgomery of Winona; three sons, Jimmy Pickle of Louisiana, Chris Pickle of Kosciusko, and Jimmy Ware of Winona; five sisters, Katherine Daigle of Louisiana, Sue Davis of Oklahoma, Lavelle Watkins of Kosciusko, Mattie Farrell of Louisiana, and Mary Jo Fox of Kosciusko; one brother, J. R. Farrell of Kosciusko; eighteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Shawn Ware, Justin Branch, Gage Montgomery, Chad Farrell, Robbie Thornton, and Brandon Thornton.
